Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov met Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, on October 14.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Cabinet of Ministers announced the meeting.
The sides highlighted the importance of Hun Manet’s official visit for the development of bilateral relations and said it would create new opportunities to further strengthen friendship between Azerbaijan and Cambodia.
They also noted the significance of the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia held in Baku.
The sides said political dialogue and cooperation on multilateral platforms between Azerbaijan and Cambodia were developing successfully, while interparliamentary and interparty ties were also expanding.
The meeting addressed prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as developing engagement in energy, transport and logistics, demining, public services, education and tourism.
