Nikol Paşinyan Rusiya Prezidenti ilə telefon danışığını müsbət qiymətləndirib

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan described his conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 1 as positive.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Armenian media outlets reported on the exchange.

“I spoke with the Russian president yesterday and, of course, thanked him for the call. He congratulated me on my birthday. We discussed current affairs and had a positive conversation. I think the best step in this context would be to abandon all restrictions,” Pashinyan noted.

It should be noted that the previous day, Putin and Pashinyan discussed the outcomes of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting held on May 29 in Astana. The parties also exchanged views on various bilateral and multilateral issues.

The relationship between Armenia and Russia remains a focal point of regional geopolitics, particularly given the ongoing efforts to normalize relations in the South Caucasus. The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which held its recent summit in Astana, serves as a key platform for economic integration among member states, including Armenia and Russia, and continues to be a primary venue for high-level diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
