Armenia has exported aluminum foil to Azerbaijan for the first time.
"Operative Information Center-OMM", citing Armenpress, reports that Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan made the statement to journalists after a government meeting.
The minister did not disclose the volume of aluminum foil exported to Azerbaijan.
Asked whether Armenia planned to export other products to Azerbaijan, Papoyan gave a brief response: “We will see.”
The reported shipment is notable as a new development in economic ties between the two countries. Trade in goods can serve as one element of broader efforts to establish practical cooperation and normalize relations in the region.
