A delegation led by the President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al-Yamahi, has visited the Alley of Honor and Victory Park in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) that the delegation paid tribute to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The guests laid a wreath and fresh flowers at the grave of the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan.
The delegation also visited Victory Park in the capital, where they laid a wreath at the memorial. The guests were briefed on the significance of Victory Park, which was established to immortalize the memory of the martyrs and commemorate the historic victory achieved by the people of Azerbaijan in the 44-day Patriotic War.
The visit of the Arab Parliament leadership underscores the strengthening diplomatic ties between Azerbaijan and the Arab world. Azerbaijan has consistently expanded its cooperation with the Arab Parliament and the League of Arab States, fostering mutual support within international organizations and enhancing bilateral relations across political, economic, and cultural spheres.
