The pilot accused of hijacking a “Flydubai” flight from Dubai to Israel planned to crash the aircraft into Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, according to a preliminary investigation by the United Arab Emirates’ attorney general.
The alleged plot had a terrorist objective and was intended to cause “the greatest possible number of casualties,” the attorney general said in a statement. The investigation is ongoing.
