We have never shown duplicity or hypocrisy toward any country.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that President Ilham Aliyev made the remarks in a speech at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP).
“Although we have repeatedly faced such treatment, and continue to face it today,” the head of state said, adding that Azerbaijan could never act like those who treat it that way. The president also said: “We are people who respect ourselves; we live with dignity and conduct our policy with dignity. Everyone can see through our example that this is possible.”
The New Azerbaijan Party is Azerbaijan’s ruling party. Its congresses provide a platform for discussing the party’s priorities and political agenda.
