A total of 28 residents of children's home social service institutions have been admitted to education institutions this year.

"Operative Information Center-OMM" reports that the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population made the announcement.

The ministry said two of the young people who grew up in children's homes operated by the Social Services Agency were admitted to higher education institutions—the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts and Lankaran State University—while 26 are studying at various vocational and specialized education institutions.

Children's homes and other social service institutions provide accommodation, care and educational support for children without parental care. Vocational and higher education opportunities help young people transition to independent living and develop professional skills.
