Former defender Damien Tixier, who played alongside Jorge Jesus at Leiria, has spoken about the coach’s character.
Tixier described Jesus as an impulsive person, saying they quickly understood what kind of person they were dealing with while working with him at the time.
“We immediately understood what kind of person we were dealing with,” Tixier said of Jesus.
Jesus is currently head coach of Portugal’s national team. Tixier’s remarks come amid a conflict between Jesus and forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
