Short-term restrictions on vehicle traffic will be introduced from 9 p.m. on Sept. 29 due to repair work and changes to traffic patterns on several streets in Baku.
The Azerbaijan State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) told the “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
According to the statement, traffic will be restricted in Binaqadi district on the section of Shovkat Mammadova Street between its intersections with Chingiz Aitmatov Street and Suleyman Sani Akhundov Street, as well as on the section of Zaur Nudiraliyev Street between its intersections with Ziya Buniyadov Avenue and Ajami Nakhchivani Street due to repair work.
In Narimanov district, part of the median at the intersection of Koroglu Rahimov and Tabriz streets will be removed to change the traffic pattern. As a result, vehicle traffic in the area will be partially restricted.
“The restrictions will remain in force until the work is completed. Drivers are asked to consider using alternative routes in advance, in accordance with their travel direction, and to show understanding toward the ongoing work,” the statement said.
