Paris Saint-Germain president and European Club Association chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi has spoken about relations with Real Madrid and the Spanish club’s president, Florentino Perez.
The Qatari official made the remarks during his address to the European Club Association’s General Assembly in Copenhagen. He said the Madrid club would soon return to the organization.
“I would like to thank Real Madrid president Florentino Perez because he believes the future of European football should be built on unity and collective interests. We are pleased that Real Madrid is in the process of returning to the family,” Nasser Al-Khelaifi said.

The European Club Association represents professional football clubs across Europe and works with UEFA on issues affecting club competitions and the development of the game. Its General Assembly brings together representatives of member clubs to discuss the organization’s priorities and the future of European football.
