Azerishiq will carry out maintenance on a transformer substation in the Yasamal district of Baku on Oct. 7 and reconstruction work on the 6 kV Bilajari-1 and Bilajari-2 overhead lines in the Bilajari settlement to improve electricity supply quality and meet growing demand.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Azerishiq OJSC announced the work.
In the service area of the Yasamal District Energy Supply and Sales Department, electricity supply will be restricted from 10:00 to 13:00 on Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh, Ismayil bey Gutgashinli and Mirali Seyidov streets, part of Parliament Avenue and areas around Qanli Lake.
In the Bilajari settlement, which is served by the Bilajari Energy Supply and Sales Department, supply will be interrupted briefly from 10:00 to 16:00 on Khudadat bey Malik-Aslanov Street and in the new residential area.
Maintenance and reconstruction work will also be carried out on 10 kV overhead power lines in several districts, along with the pruning of trees touching the lines.
In the service area of the Aghdara Electricity Network, maintenance on several 10 kV overhead lines will restrict electricity supply from 12:00 to 17:00 in several settlements in the district, including the villages of Ashagi Oratagh and Yukhari Oratagh.
Reconstruction work will be carried out on the 10 kV Yolqulular overhead line served by the Goranboy Electricity Network. The planned outage will affect Yolqulular village from 11:00 to 16:00.
In parts of the villages of Alikend, Chareke, Hungutlu, Khalitli, Garakhidir, Garaman, Lekchilpag, Malli Shikhli, Mirti, Yalman and Yeniarkh in Goychay, electricity supply will be interrupted briefly from 10:00 to 15:00. The work will include pruning trees touching some 10 kV overhead lines and maintenance at complete transformer substations.
Maintenance work will be carried out on the 10 kV Nasos overhead line in Yevlakh. Electricity supply in Ashagi Garxun and Yukhari Garxun villages will be restricted from 10:00 to 15:00.
Once the work is complete, subscribers in the affected areas will receive more reliable, higher-quality electricity. The planned maintenance is intended to improve the local distribution network and support electricity supply amid rising demand.
