Rain and thunderstorms are expected in some parts of Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on the evening of Oct. 2, with downpours possible toward night.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the National Hydrometeorology Service issued the forecast.
Weather is expected to be partly cloudy and occasionally overcast, but mostly dry. Moderate northwesterly winds will strengthen intermittently from daytime.
Temperatures will be 16-19°C at night and 21-26°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 762 mm of mercury, and relative humidity will be 60-70%.
Intermittent rain is expected in some parts of Azerbaijan’s regions. Heavy downpours, thunderstorms and hail are possible in some areas, while snow may fall in high mountain areas. Precipitation is expected to intensify in the evening. Fog is forecast in some places at night and in the morning. Moderate westerly winds will strengthen intermittently in some areas during the day.
Temperatures will be 14-18°C at night and 23-27°C during the day, while mountain areas will see 5-10°C at night and 10-15°C during the day.
