Azerbaijan will have four non-working days in the coming months of 2026.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that, under the Labor Code and a relevant Cabinet of Ministers decision, November 8 – Victory Day, November 9 – State Flag Day, and December 31 – the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis are non-working days.
As November 8 and 9 fall on a weekend this year, November 10 will also be a day off for employees working a five-day schedule.
Thus, November 8, 9 and 10, as well as December 31 will be non-working days in the coming months.
It should be noted that in 2026, the five-day workweek will include a total of 241 working days and 107 days off. The annual working-time norm for a 40-hour workweek is 1,922 hours.
