Significant traffic congestion has been reported on several major streets and avenues in Baku, causing delays for commuters during peak hours.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (NIIM) issued an official statement regarding the current road conditions in the capital. Heavy traffic is currently observed on the Baku-Sumgait highway heading toward the "20 January" metro station, the Binagadi highway toward the "Azadlig Prospekti" metro station, and along Tbilisi Avenue. Other affected areas include Yusif Safarov Street, Uzeyir Hajibeyli Street, and the 8 November and Ziya Bunyadov avenues.

Traffic management in Baku remains a priority for urban authorities as the city continues to expand. The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors the capital's road network using a sophisticated system of cameras and sensors to provide real-time updates to the public. Drivers in Azerbaijan are advised to use alternative routes where possible and to account for potential delays to ensure road safety and efficient travel during periods of high density.
