Zelenskyy sets condition for halting strikes on Russian energy sites

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Kyiv was ready to stop strikes on Russian energy facilities.

Zelenskyy said Moscow must first halt attacks targeting Ukraine’s energy sector, critical infrastructure and food exports.

Energy infrastructure has remained a key target in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, with both sides accusing each other of disrupting facilities that are important for civilian life and economic activity. Any reciprocal suspension of such strikes would require agreement and compliance by both parties.
