Qarabağda bütün infrastruktur "Yaşıl enerji" əsasında qurulur

All infrastructure projects in the Garabagh and East Zangilan regions are being developed based on the "Green Energy Zone" concept, following the strategic vision of the leadership of Azerbaijan. The reconstruction process integrates advanced ecological standards, utilizing renewable energy sources to power new residential and public facilities. For instance, in the village of Aghali in Zangilan, electricity is generated through Archimedes turbines, solar panels, and heat pumps, serving as a prime example of sustainable development in the region.

According to Operative Information Center-OMM, these remarks were made by Dunja Kovari-Binggeli, founding partner of the Swiss urban planning agency "sa_partners," during the 13th session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13). Speaking at an event titled "Reconstructing Urban Planning - How Azerbaijan Created an Innovation Lab for Urban Transformation," she highlighted that solar panels are also being extensively installed on rooftops in Shusha to ensure energy efficiency.

The declaration of Garabagh and East Zangilan as "Green Energy Zones" is a cornerstone of Azerbaijan's post-conflict reconstruction strategy. This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote environmental sustainability while rebuilding cities from the ground up. By partnering with international experts and implementing cutting-edge technologies, Azerbaijan is transforming these territories into modern, eco-friendly hubs that align with global climate goals and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
