A magnitude 5.4 earthquake has struck Türkiye’s Şanlıurfa province.
Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Haber Global, reports that Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced the incident on its account on the social media platform X.
According to the report, the earthquake was felt in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Elazığ, Malatya and Diyarbakır.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 7.39 kilometers.
Earthquakes in Türkiye are monitored by AFAD, which coordinates emergency response and provides official updates on seismic activity and possible damage.
