İran Böyük Britaniyanın SEPAH-la bağlı qərarını sərt tənqid etdi

The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has formally protested the United Kingdom's decision to classify the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a security threat under the country's National Security Act.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, official Tehran has characterized this move by the United Kingdom as a hostile and baseless action. In a statement released by the ministry, Iranian officials asserted that London's decision contradicts established norms of international law.

Tehran warned that this development could negatively impact bilateral relations between the two nations and potentially exacerbate existing tensions within the region.

The IRGC, established following the 1979 Islamic Revolution, serves as a major branch of the Iranian Armed Forces, tasked with protecting the country's political system. Tensions between Western nations and the IRGC have historically fluctuated, often centered on disagreements regarding Iran's regional influence, ballistic missile programs, and support for various proxy groups, which Western governments frequently cite as sources of instability.
