French President Emmanuel Macron shared a video of his walk in Yerevan, expressing satisfaction with his visit to Armenia.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the French leader posted the footage on his social media accounts, thanking the host country for the warm reception. President Macron arrived in the Armenian capital to participate in the 8th European Political Community (EPC) Summit and to conduct a state visit aimed at deepening bilateral relations.

In his social media post, President Macron stated: "I am very happy to be in Armenia again. Thank you for such a warm welcome. Tomorrow, at the European Political Community summit, we will continue to build a more sovereign Europe. Later, together with my friend, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, we will strengthen the strategic partnership between our countries." The French President was seen walking through central Yerevan with Prime Minister Pashinyan on the evening of May 3, ahead of the official summit proceedings.

The French President's official state visit is scheduled to begin on May 5. The itinerary includes high-level one-on-one and expanded meetings with Prime Minister Pashinyan, the signing of several bilateral documents, and joint press statements. Additionally, Macron is expected to visit the Matenadaran and travel to the city of Gyumri to commemorate the victims of the 1988 earthquake, where he will also attend the "Music Bridge: Armenia-France" concert. France continues to play a significant role in regional diplomacy, maintaining a close strategic dialogue with Yerevan while participating in broader European security initiatives.
