Azerbaijan’s gasification level stands at 96%.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made the statement at an event titled “Restoring trust in a fragmented world: The South Caucasus as a pillar of global connectivity and investment stability,” held as part of the second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in Baku under his patronage.
The head of state noted that 100% of Azerbaijan’s territory is supplied with electricity. “Moreover, we export electricity,” he said.
The figures reflect the broad expansion of Azerbaijan’s energy infrastructure and the country’s efforts to ensure reliable access to natural gas and electricity across its regions. Azerbaijan has also positioned itself as an energy supplier to international markets, with electricity exports complementing its established role in natural gas transportation.
