A fire broke out at a fuel station located in Mammadli village of the Absheron district, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The incident was reported to the Operative Information Center-OMM, prompting an immediate response from the State Fire Protection Service.
Upon arrival, firefighters assessed the operational situation and determined that the fire had originated in a facility under a single roof, which housed an auto repair shop and a spare parts store spanning 260 square meters across eight bays. The fire posed a significant risk of spreading to the adjacent fuel station.
Thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighting crews, the blaze was contained and extinguished in a short period, preventing it from spreading to other bays or the fuel station itself. According to official reports, the fire destroyed combustible structures in two bays over an area of 60 square meters and damaged 260 square meters of the roof's wooden framework. No injuries were reported, and the fuel station remained protected from the flames.
