By an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, Major General Allahveran Ibish oghlu Ismayilov, deputy head of the Special State Protection Service for Communications and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was awarded the highest military rank of lieutenant general.

Allahveran Ismayilov is a state official who has worked for many years in information security and government communications.
He graduated from Azerbaijan Technical University. At an event held in 2025 to mark the university’s 75th anniversary, Ismayilov was described as an honorary graduate of AzTU.
One of the important stages in Ismayilov’s career was the period when he headed the Heydar Aliyev Academy of the State Security Service. In 2021, he served as head of the academy with the rank of major general.
In 2016, he was awarded the honorary title of “Honored Engineer” for his service in the field of communications in state bodies.
Since 2023, Allahveran Ismayilov has served as deputy head of the Special State Protection Service for Communications and Information Security. In this position, he has participated in various initiatives related to information and cybersecurity and the protection of state information systems.
On April 24, 2024, by an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, Allahveran Ibish oghlu Ismayilov was awarded the 3rd Class Order “For Service to the Fatherland” for his long-term and effective work in ensuring information security in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In recent years, Ismayilov has also spoken at events on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and the protection of information resources.
Thus, Allahveran Ismayilov’s career has included various senior positions in government communications, information security and special services.
He currently serves as deputy head of the Special State Protection Service for Communications and Information Security, holding the rank of major general.
