Weather conditions across Azerbaijan have stabilized as precipitation ceased starting from the evening of February 11, according to the latest official data. The National Hydrometeorological Service reported on February 12 at 11:00 AM that the sharp weather conditions previously affecting the region have begun to moderate.

Azerbaijan's diverse climate zones often lead to sharp contrasts in weather patterns between the lowlands and the mountainous regions of the Greater and Lesser Caucasus. The National Hydrometeorological Service, operating under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, continuously monitors these atmospheric changes to provide early warnings for agriculture, transport, and public safety. Such heavy snowfall in the liberated territories of Garabagh and East Zangezur is characteristic of the winter season in these high-altitude terrains, requiring heightened caution on mountain passes and regional highways.
