Restoration works are currently underway on the Duzbilici-Valasi-Chinarlar road at the 5th and 8th kilometers, as well as on the 6th kilometer of the Shabran-Galaalti road, following damage caused by recent flooding in the Shabran region.

According to the agency, crews are actively engaged in excavation and backfilling operations, alongside the restoration of water drainage pipes. Urgent measures are being implemented to resolve the infrastructure issues, with the primary objective being the rapid restoration of transport links and the ensuring of safe traffic movement. Preventive steps are also being taken to mitigate potential risks posed by future floodwaters.
Shabran, located in the northeastern part of Azerbaijan, is a region frequently subject to seasonal weather challenges.
