At least six people were killed following Israeli airstrikes on the Lebanese capital, Beirut, in the early hours of Wednesday. Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Lebanese Ministry of Health, reports that two separate air raids resulted in significant casualties and damage.

The strikes claimed the lives of at least six civilians, while 24 others were transported to local hospitals with various degrees of injuries. The aerial bombardment caused extensive damage to residential buildings and infrastructure within the city's neighborhoods.

Rescue operations are currently underway at the sites of the impact as emergency teams search for survivors among the debris. This latest escalation comes amid a period of heightened regional instability, as cross-border tensions continue to intensify. Beirut has seen frequent strikes in recent months as military operations expand across the region, leading to growing international concern over the humanitarian impact on civilian populations in Lebanon.
