On July 14, temperatures in Azerbaijan are expected to reach as high as 39 degrees Celsius, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reported that the weather in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula is expected to be primarily rainless, accompanied by a north-westerly wind.
Temperatures in the capital are forecast to range between 20-25°C at night and 31-36°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure is expected to be 756 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels at 70-75% at night and 50-55% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is also expected to remain largely dry. However, meteorologists have warned of a possibility of short-term rain, lightning, and hail in some mountainous areas during the day. Fog is expected in certain mountainous regions during the night and morning hours, with moderate easterly winds.
Temperatures in the regions are forecast to reach 22-27°C at night and 34-39°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see temperatures of 14-18°C at night and 24-29°C during the day.
