Sosial Xidmətlər Agentliyi tərəfindən 884 uşağın ailəsinə reinteqrasiyası təmin edilib

Since the establishment of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in 2020, reintegration measures have successfully facilitated the return of 884 children from social service institutions to their families.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

According to the ministry, the process of returning children to family care involves the development of family development plans, which outline specific social support measures. These plans serve as a framework for providing targeted assistance to strengthen families and ensure a stable environment for the children.

“Following the return of children to their families, the agency conducts regular monitoring to assess their overall well-being and living conditions,” the statement noted. Furthermore, the agency actively works to prevent children from being separated from parental care by providing socio-psychological support and conducting awareness campaigns. During the same period, the agency successfully prevented 964 children from being placed in institutional care by their families.

The reintegration of children into family environments is a key priority for the Azerbaijani government, aligning with international standards on child rights and social welfare. By prioritizing family-based care over institutionalization, the state aims to foster better developmental outcomes for children, ensuring they grow up in a supportive and nurturing home environment rather than in state-run facilities.
