Turkiye has announced its readiness to provide security and a platform for high-level negotiations regarding the situation in Ukraine.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Presidential Administration of Turkiye released information regarding this initiative. According to the statement, official Ankara remains committed to facilitating diplomatic efforts to ensure regional stability and peace.

The third round of trilateral negotiations between representatives of Russia, the United States, and Ukraine took place in Geneva on February 17-18. The Russian delegation was led by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, who described the discussions as "difficult but businesslike." US President Donald Trump has previously emphasized the importance of reaching a swift resolution to the conflict, and these ongoing diplomatic channels are seen as a critical component of that objective.

Turkiye has consistently positioned itself as a key mediator in the region, leveraging its unique geopolitical position and balanced relations with all parties involved. Since the beginning of the crisis, Ankara has hosted several high-profile meetings, including the landmark grain corridor negotiations and previous rounds of peace talks in Istanbul. The country's leadership continues to advocate for a diplomatic solution that respects international law and territorial integrity while addressing the security concerns of the involved nations.
