Türkiye is monitoring US efforts concerning Ukraine and supports initiatives aimed at resolving the conflict peacefully.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports, citing a source in the Turkish government quoted by RIA Novosti, that Ankara supports diplomatic efforts to end the conflict.
A Turkish official said all steps that could help bring the conflict to an end should be supported.
The official said Türkiye was ready to host talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine if it received a corresponding request.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the possibility of resuming talks between Russia, the United States and Ukraine.
Peskov said there was a general political desire to restart negotiations on Ukraine in a trilateral format.
Türkiye has previously hosted diplomatic contacts involving Russia and Ukraine, including talks focused on humanitarian issues and efforts to facilitate dialogue. Any future negotiations would depend on the positions of the parties and agreement on the format.
