US President Donald Trump has evaluated the military operations carried out against Iran during an interview with Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Trump emphasized the results achieved were greater than initially expected.
Expressing satisfaction with the progress of the operation, the President stated:
“No one can believe the success we have achieved; 48 leaders were eliminated with a single strike. The process is moving rapidly. If we had not taken this step, they would have possessed nuclear weapons within two weeks.”
US President Donald Trump also noted that Iran's nuclear facilities were targeted using B-2 stealth bombers.
The US leader dismissed concerns regarding the potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz or a spike in global oil prices, stating:
“I am not worried about anything. I am simply doing what is right. In the end, everything works out.”
In a separate interview with The Atlantic, US President Donald Trump revealed that Iran's new leadership has expressed a desire to meet with him, an offer he has accepted. He emphasized that the Iranian side should have taken this step much sooner, remarking, “They want to talk, and I agreed. They waited a very long time.”
The recent military actions and subsequent diplomatic overtures mark a significant escalation in the long-standing tensions between Washington and Tehran. The use of B-2 Spirit bombers, which are designed for penetrating dense anti-aircraft defenses, underscores the strategic priority the US administration places on preventing nuclear proliferation in the region. Historically, the Strait of Hormuz remains one of the world's most critical oil transit points, and any instability there is closely monitored by global energy markets and international security agencies.
