Tramp: İranın nüvə silahına sahib olmasına icazə verməyəcəyəm

US President Donald Trump assessed the first year of his second presidential term during a joint session of Congress, addressing key national security and foreign policy priorities.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the head of the White House highlighted his administration's efforts in resolving regional conflicts, stating that he has halted eight wars during his 11 months in office.

Devoting significant attention to the Iranian issue, which remains a focal point of international tension, US President Donald Trump noted that while negotiations with Tehran are ongoing, the United States is prepared for all scenarios should an agreement fail to be reached.

"My preference is to resolve this problem through diplomacy. However, one thing is certain: I will never allow this country, the world's number one sponsor of terrorism, to possess a nuclear weapon."

US President Donald Trump pointed out that Iran has already developed missiles capable of targeting Europe and US overseas bases, and is currently working on technologies that could directly reach US territory. The President emphasized that all options, including military alternatives, remain on the table in the face of any threat directed at the United States.

Touching upon internal unrest within Iran, US President Donald Trump claimed that 32,000 people were killed during demonstrations and asserted that his intervention prevented hundreds of executions. Commenting on the broader situation in the Middle East, the US leader stated that achieving a ceasefire in Gaza is critical for regional peace and expressed gratitude to those involved in the process of returning hostages.

The relationship between Washington and Tehran has been characterized by decades of diplomatic friction and strategic rivalry. Since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the United States has consistently raised concerns regarding Iran's nuclear ambitions and its influence across the Middle East. The current administration's stance reflects a continuation of the "maximum pressure" policy, aimed at curbing Tehran's nuclear capabilities and ballistic missile development through a combination of economic sanctions and diplomatic maneuvering.
