The National Hydrometeorology Service has released the weather forecast for beaches across the Absheron Peninsula, providing essential information for residents and visitors planning coastal activities.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the forecast indicates stable conditions for the upcoming day.
On July 19, a moderate north-west wind is expected to prevail in the region. Sea water temperatures are projected to reach 24-25 degrees Celsius at northern beaches, including Sumgait, Novkhani, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, Bilgah, and Zagulba. Meanwhile, southern coastal areas such as Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, and Shikh are expected to see slightly warmer temperatures ranging from 25-26 degrees Celsius.
The Absheron Peninsula, which encompasses Baku and its surrounding areas, is the primary recreational hub for the Republic of Azerbaijan during the summer months. The National Hydrometeorology Service regularly monitors these coastal zones to ensure public safety and provide accurate meteorological data for the tourism sector.
