Ben Bloom, Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), has arrived in Baku to discuss investment opportunities aimed at further strengthening cooperation within the framework of the U.S.-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter.

During his visit, Ben Bloom held meetings with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, as well as representatives of the private sector. The discussions focused on investment and partnership opportunities in key areas of mutual interest, particularly in infrastructure, energy, and digital development.
Ben Bloom's visit serves as a continuation of the inaugural U.S.-Azerbaijan Economic Dialogue held on June 2 and represents a significant step forward in the implementation of the Strategic Partnership Charter signed in February. This charter underscores the commitment of both nations to deepening ties, which have historically focused on energy security, regional stability, and economic diversification, aligning with Azerbaijan's broader goals of modernizing its economy and expanding its role as a regional transit hub.
