The draw for the playoff round of the 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League season will be held today.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the event is scheduled to take place at 15:00 at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.
During the draw, the opponent for the Garabagh football club, which finished the League phase in 22nd place, will be determined. Positioned in the unseeded pot, the Azerbaijani champion is set to face either French side PSG or England's Newcastle United.
The draw involves 16 teams that finished between 9th and 24th place in the League phase. The clubs that finished in the top eight positions have automatically advanced to the round of 16 and are exempt from this round.
The teams have been divided into two pots ahead of the draw:

The first-leg matches of the playoff round will be played on February 17–18, with the return fixtures scheduled for February 24–25. On February 27, the draw for the round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals will take place.
The round of 16 matches are set for March 10–11 and 17–18, while the quarter-finals will be held on April 7–8 and 14–15. The semi-final encounters will take place on April 28–29 and May 5–6. The season's final will be held on May 30 in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Garabagh FK, representing Azerbaijan, has consistently demonstrated strong performances in European competitions, becoming the first Azerbaijani club to reach the group stages of the UEFA Champions League in the 2017/2018 season.
