President Ilham Aliyev sends congratulatory letter to Lukashenko

President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko, on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message reads:

"Dear Alexander Grigoryevich,

Please accept my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday - Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

Relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus are characterized by a high level of mutual understanding and close interaction. The traditions of strong friendship and mutual support between our peoples, as well as the successful implementation of high-level agreements, enrich our interstate relations with quality content and contribute to the strengthening of bilateral cooperation across the entire spectrum of directions.

I am confident that through our joint efforts, the multifaceted interaction and strategic partnership between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus will continue to consistently expand and deepen for the well-being of our friendly peoples and countries.

Dear Alexander Grigoryevich, on this festive day, I wish you robust health, happiness, and success in your high state duties, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Belarus."

Azerbaijan and Belarus maintain a long-standing relationship characterized by active political dialogue and economic cooperation.
