President Ilham Aliyev to address European Political Community summit

The European Political Community (EPC) summit commences today in Yerevan, bringing together leaders from across the continent to discuss regional security and cooperation. President Ilham Aliyev is scheduled to deliver a video address during the opening session of the high-level gathering.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the opening session will feature a series of addresses from prominent international figures. Alongside President Ilham Aliyev, the program includes speeches by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, President of the European Council Antonio Costa, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

The European Political Community was established as a platform for political and strategic discussions regarding the future of Europe, fostering dialogue between European Union member states and neighboring nations. Azerbaijan's participation in the summit highlights the country's strategic importance in regional energy security and its active role in promoting stability within the South Caucasus and the broader European space.
