The transit of goods from Russia to Armenia through the territory of Azerbaijan is set to continue today, with a shipment of fertilizer and wheat currently in transit.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the shipment consists of two railcars of fertilizer and two railcars of wheat destined for Armenia.

The train is scheduled to depart from the Bilajari station of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC at 14:00. It will proceed through the Boyuk Kasik station into Georgia, continuing its journey toward Armenia. This transit operation underscores Azerbaijan's role as a key logistics hub in the South Caucasus, facilitating regional trade and transport connectivity.

Azerbaijan has consistently maintained its commitment to international transit agreements, utilizing its modern railway infrastructure to support regional economic activities. The country's strategic location serves as a vital bridge between East and West, as well as North and South, integrating the region into global supply chains through corridors such as the Middle Corridor and other established rail networks.
