Armenia and Georgia have reached an agreement to complete the delimitation of their state border. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the two nations have entered a new phase in clarifying their shared boundaries, marking a significant step in bilateral relations.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Armenian media, Pashinyan stated that the issue of border delimitation with Georgia has been formally included in the agenda. He emphasized that specific agreements have already been reached with the Georgian side to move the process forward and finalize the technical aspects of the frontier.
The delimitation process is considered a critical component for regional stability in the South Caucasus. Pashinyan noted that finalizing the borders with both Georgia and Azerbaijan would effectively complete the official registration of Armenia's state boundaries. This development comes as part of a broader effort in the region to establish clear, internationally recognized borders and foster long-term security and cooperation among neighboring states.
