Nikki Haley, the former US Ambassador to the United Nations, has claimed that Russia is actively working to prolong the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran to exploit perceived American weaknesses.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Haley shared these remarks on her social media account, highlighting the geopolitical motivations behind Moscow's involvement in Middle Eastern tensions. She alleged that Vladimir Putin is reportedly sharing intelligence with Iran, which Tehran then utilizes to target US radar systems and coordinate attacks.
"Putin wants to prolong this war because he believes a distracted America is a weak America. This is why the destruction of Iran's missiles, drones, nuclear program, and proxy network is so critical. It is lethal not only for Iran but also for Russia," Haley stated. She emphasized that Russia's strategic goal is to keep the US engaged in a multi-front regional struggle to divert resources and political focus away from other global theaters.
The relationship between Moscow and Tehran has significantly tightened in recent years, particularly through increased military-technical cooperation. This partnership has seen the exchange of drone technology and intelligence, raising concerns among Western allies regarding regional stability. As US President Donald Trump leads the administration in Washington, the geopolitical landscape continues to shift, with US officials closely monitoring the Kremlin's influence on Iranian military capabilities and its broader implications for international security.
