To accommodate rising passenger demand, Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) CJSC has announced the scheduling of additional train services on the Baku-Aghstafa-Baku route for June 6 and 7.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the national railway operator has taken this step to ensure efficient travel options for passengers during this period.
ADY further stated that passengers can purchase tickets for these additional services with a 10 percent discount. Tickets are available for purchase at railway ticket offices, through the official ADY website, or via the "ADY Mobile" application. The company also noted that daily services continue to operate on the Baku-Gazakh-Baku route, providing consistent connectivity between the capital and the western regions of Azerbaijan.
The Baku-Aghstafa railway line serves as a critical transportation artery in Azerbaijan, connecting the capital city with the western districts. Since the modernization of the railway infrastructure, these high-speed and comfortable train services have become a preferred mode of transport for both local residents and tourists, significantly reducing travel time compared to road transport and enhancing regional mobility.
