French President Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Yerevan to participate in the 8th European Political Community (EPC) Summit.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the French leader arrived at the official venue where heads of state and government are gathering for the high-level forum. Upon his arrival at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, President Macron was officially welcomed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The summit serves as a platform for political coordination among European countries across the continent. Discussions during this 8th meeting are expected to focus on regional security, energy stability, and economic cooperation. The event brings together leaders from both EU and non-EU member states to foster dialogue on shared challenges facing the European landscape.
The European Political Community was originally proposed by President Macron in 2022 following the escalation of regional conflicts. The initiative aims to strengthen the security, stability, and prosperity of the European continent by providing a space for informal but strategic high-level exchanges between a wide range of partners.
