EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas has called for increased pressure on Russia to end the conflict in Ukraine.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the EU foreign policy service published the information on its official website.
Speaking at a news conference, Kallas said that increasing support for Ukraine and strengthening pressure on Moscow was the fastest way to end the war.
According to her, the EU should continue its political, military and financial support for Ukraine while also increasing pressure on Russia.
Earlier, reports said that France, Germany and Italy could prevent the establishment of a defense group initiated by Kallas.
The European Union has maintained its support for Ukraine since Russia launched its full-scale military operation in February 2022. EU measures have included financial assistance, military aid and sanctions against Russia.
