The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan has issued a decision regarding the demolition of three non-residential buildings located in the city of Shusha.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the decree to include these structures, situated on Aslan Garasharov Street, in the official "List of objects possible for demolition." The decision is aimed at facilitating the systematic redevelopment of the city's infrastructure.
Shusha, recognized as the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, is currently undergoing extensive restoration and reconstruction following its liberation. The Azerbaijani government has initiated large-scale urban planning projects to restore the city's historical heritage while integrating modern infrastructure. These demolition measures are typically carried out to remove damaged or unsuitable buildings, making way for new residential areas, administrative centers, and cultural landmarks in accordance with the city's comprehensive master plan.
