In accordance with the preparation plan for 2026, a training session involving a group of reservists called up from the reserve has concluded at an "N" military unit of the Special Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The exercises were designed to maintain a high level of combat readiness and ensure the seamless integration of reserve personnel into active duty scenarios.
The Ministry of Defense informed the Operative Information Center-OMM that the primary objectives of the training were successfully met. During the sessions, participants underwent comprehensive training in firing, tactics, drill, physical, and socio-political preparation. The program also included theoretical and practical lessons across various military specialties, alongside educational discussions focused on patriotic awareness. Speakers at the closing ceremony emphasized that the participants' combat skills and abilities were significantly developed throughout the process.
Such training sessions for reservists are a regular component of Azerbaijan's defense strategy, aimed at strengthening the country's military potential and ensuring the army's personnel remain prepared for modern security challenges. Following the restoration of territorial integrity, the Ministry of Defense has intensified specialized drills to enhance the professional capabilities of both active-duty soldiers and reserve forces across various regions, including Garabagh. At the conclusion of the event, participants were wished success in their future endeavors, and those who distinguished themselves during the training were awarded honorary certificates.
