Azerbaijan and Jordan have reaffirmed their commitment to resolving issues surrounding Iran exclusively through diplomatic channels.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov made these remarks during a joint briefing in Baku with Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Minister Bayramov noted that the current situation in the Middle East, including ongoing conflicts and regional tensions, remains a matter of significant concern for both nations:

"We expressed our consensus that the current situation, particularly regarding Iran, should be managed in a more stable manner and resolved solely through diplomatic means. Both countries are prepared to take the necessary steps in this context to ensure regional stability."

The diplomatic engagement between Baku and Amman highlights the growing cooperation between the two nations on critical geopolitical issues. Jordan, a key player in Middle Eastern diplomacy, often aligns with international efforts to de-escalate regional crises. By emphasizing a diplomatic path, Azerbaijan continues to position itself as a proponent of stability in the broader region, advocating for dialogue over confrontation in the face of escalating geopolitical challenges.
