Rainy weather conditions continue across most regions of Azerbaijan, with snow falling in several mountainous areas. According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, unstable weather patterns have been recorded throughout the territory as of the morning of March 31.

The Operative Information Center-OMM was informed by the National Hydrometeorological Service that as of 09:00 on March 31, the height of the snow cover reached 49 cm in Shahdag, 11 cm in Zagatala (Alibay), and 10 cm in Gakh (Saribash). Precipitation levels were significant in several districts, with 33 mm recorded in Gakh, 32 mm in Sheki, and 23 mm in Zagatala. Other areas, including Aghdam, Kalbajar, Shusha, and Barda, received up to 5 mm of rainfall.

Wind speeds also increased in various sectors on March 30, with western winds reaching maximum speeds of 19 m/s in Lerik and 17 m/s in Zangilan. Furthermore, foggy conditions have been observed in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Dashkasan, Goygol, Kalbajar, Lachin, Qubadli, Shusha, and Khankendi, reducing visibility to 500 meters in some locations.

The National Hydrometeorological Service of Azerbaijan regularly monitors and provides updates on atmospheric conditions to ensure public safety and operational readiness for infrastructure services. Such seasonal weather fluctuations are characteristic of the transition to spring in the Caucasus region, where high-altitude areas often experience late-season snowfall while the lowlands face increased precipitation and fog.
