Azerbaijan reports budget revenue growth for January 2026

Azerbaijan's state budget revenues reached 3,707.3 million manats in January 2026, exceeding the monthly forecast by 32.0 million manats or 0.9 percent. During this period, treasury authorities successfully processed more than 37,000 payment orders, reflecting a positive dynamic in the execution of the state budget.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Ministry of Finance, reports that the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy collected 2,050.3 million manats, surpassing the target by 2.5 percent. The State Customs Committee contributed 487.0 million manats to the budget, while the State Service on Property Issues provided 4.9 million manats. Additionally, the transfer from the State Oil Fund (SOFAZ) was fully executed at 1,070.0 million manats, and other revenues amounted to 31.0 million manats.

On the expenditure side, the state budget spent 1,437.6 million manats in January, representing a 95.8 percent execution of the projected 1,500.0 million manats. Overall, the consolidated budget revenues for the first month of 2026 stood at 4,411.9 million manats, with total expenditures reaching 1,717.5 million manats. These figures underscore the fiscal stability of Azerbaijan as the government continues to prioritize efficient revenue collection and disciplined spending to support national economic development and the ongoing reconstruction projects in the liberated territories.
