Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of the IDEA Public Union, along with Arzu Aliyeva, head of the Baku Media Center, have visited the family of martyr Ulfat Babazade in Lankaran.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Leyla Aliyeva shared details of the visit on her social media account.
Ulfat Babazade was born on January 28, 2000, in the village of Dashtatuk, Lankaran district. He demonstrated exceptional bravery during the Patriotic War, participating in battles for the liberation of Khojavand and Shusha.
For his heroism, he was posthumously awarded the "For the Motherland" medal, the "Brave Warrior" medal, the "For the Liberation of Shusha" medal, the "For the Liberation of Khojavand" medal, the "For the Liberation of Kalbajar" medal, and the "Azerbaijan Flag" Order.
The Azerbaijani state consistently prioritizes the support and social welfare of the families of martyrs and veterans who sacrificed their lives or health for the territorial integrity of the country. Such visits by public figures highlight the ongoing national respect and gratitude toward those who served in the 44-day Patriotic War, which ended the occupation of Azerbaijani territories.
