On July 19, temperatures in Baku are expected to reach 38°C. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the National Hydrometeorological Service has released the latest weather forecast for the country.
In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the weather will be dry, accompanied by a moderate north-west wind. Temperatures are forecast to range from 23-26°C at night to 29-33°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 758 mm of mercury, with relative humidity levels reaching 70-80% at night and 50-55% during the day.
Across the regions of Azerbaijan, the weather is expected to be largely dry. However, occasional rain is forecast for some mountainous and foothill areas. In isolated locations, there is a possibility of short-term intense showers, thunderstorms, and hail. Fog is expected in some mountainous areas during the night and morning hours, with a moderate westerly wind prevailing.
Temperatures in the regions will range from 22-26°C at night to 33-38°C during the day, while mountainous regions will see temperatures between 13-18°C at night and 23-28°C during the day.
The National Hydrometeorological Service regularly monitors these climatic shifts, which are typical for the summer season in Azerbaijan. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during periods of high heat, particularly during peak daylight hours when temperatures are at their highest.
