A new micromobility lane has been established on Khan Shushinski Street in Baku, marking another step in the capital's ongoing efforts to modernize its urban transportation infrastructure.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, which cited the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, this initiative connects the existing lanes on Rashid Behbudov Street and Vagif Avenue. Appropriate road signs have already been installed in the area to guide commuters.
Authorities have confirmed that safety barriers will be installed in the coming days to further protect cyclists and scooter users. This project is part of a broader strategy by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport to promote sustainable urban mobility, reduce traffic congestion, and encourage the use of eco-friendly transportation alternatives across Baku.
